AI NightShift SATX uses SMS communication for two distinct purposes:
03 Opt-In Process & Consent Flow
All SMS recipients must complete our double opt-in verification process before any messages are sent. No SMS is transmitted to any number without completed verification.
Express Consent
Recipient checks opt-in box on submission form or provides explicit verbal consent
Verification Code
Twilio sends a one-time verification code to the recipient's provided phone number
Code Confirmation
Recipient submits code back via email or verbally — number is confirmed and logged
This double opt-in process ensures that:
- The phone number belongs to the person providing consent
- Consent is active and intentional, not accidental
- All verified numbers are logged with timestamp and method of consent
- No messages are sent to unverified numbers under any circumstances
04 Opt-In Language & Disclosure
At the point of opt-in, recipients are presented with the following disclosure language on the submission form:
For verbal consent, the same disclosure is read aloud to the recipient and their verbal confirmation is logged with date, time, and the staff member who obtained consent.

The following screenshot documents our Twilio Verified Caller ID configuration, showing the phone numbers authorized for use within our SMS program. All recipient numbers are verified through Twilio's caller ID verification system prior to any outbound SMS transmission.

06 Message Content & Frequency
- Internal operations: 1–3 messages per day to internal recipients (business principals only)
- Client notifications: Varies by service; typically 1–5 messages per month per client
- Messages will always identify AI NightShift SATX as the sender
- No promotional or marketing SMS will be sent without explicit prior consent
- Message and data rates may apply depending on recipient's carrier plan
07 Opt-Out & Help Instructions
All SMS recipients retain the right to opt out at any time. The following commands are supported:
- STOP — Immediately unsubscribes the number from all AI NightShift SATX SMS communications
- HELP — Returns contact information and support options
- UNSTOP or START — Re-subscribes a previously opted-out number
Opt-out requests are processed immediately and no further messages will be sent to that number. Opt-out records are retained for compliance documentation.
08 Data Privacy & Retention
- Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely for the purpose stated at opt-in
- Numbers are never sold, shared, or transferred to third parties
- Consent records including timestamp, method, and verification status are retained for a minimum of 4 years
- Recipients may request deletion of their data by contacting info@ainightshiftsatx.com
